Fellow Rams,
VCU Mail Anywhere E-mail Migration to myMail Accounts is Now Available.
Please make sure that you submit this request before June 30, after which access to student email in former VCU Mail anywhere accounts will be removed. VCU Technology Services (TS) will configure this migration for you. All emails under 25 MB will be migrated over to your myMail accounts.
Please make sure the pop up blocker is disabled to successfully submit the ticket. Here is how you can disable pop ups:
Here are the steps to request the migration from your VCU Lotus Notes to VCU myMail:
- Visit the TS Help Desk website: http://www.ts.vcu.edu/helpdesk.html
- Just hit “Submit a Ticket” (Located on the top-right side of the webpage)
- Login to the support center with your E-ID and Password. (May not be required if you are already logged into the Central Authentication System)
Once you are in the TS Ticket Submission Webpage, please follow the following steps to request an email migration:
- I need assistance from/with: “Email/Lotus Notus/VCU Gmail”
- In the selection list popup, choose “Mail Migration to Gmail”
- If for some reason the popup did not show up, type “Mail Migration to Gmail” in the detail request field.
- Enter your contact number (required)
- Choose your primary status (student should apply for almost everyone)
- Just hit save.
You should receive a confirmation number. Please make a note of this number.
You should also receive an automatic email from TS after successful submission of the ticket. If you did not receive the email, please visit http://tinyurl.com/ygu36wd to review the ticket. If you had any issues, please try to resubmit the ticket. You can always call TS at (804) 828-2227 for further assistance.
